Armada Cyber Defense was founded to help defense contractors navigate the complex world of cybersecurity compliance under the Department of Defense’s CMMC framework. As consultants, we saw firsthand how confusing and time-consuming it is for small and mid-sized businesses to prepare for certification. To address this, we created CyberGap, a free, lightweight tool designed to help organizations self-assess against CMMC requirements and understand where they fall short. It was built to be simple, clear, and actionable so any contractor could take the first step toward compliance.

As clients progressed and needed more robust features like document tracking, SSP generation, and POA&M management. We developed CyberComply, our full-featured GRC platform. CyberComply builds on the foundation of CyberGap but adds automation, evidence management, task tracking, and support for both Level 1 and Level 2 controls. Today, both tools work together to help contractors move from first assessment to final certification with clarity and confidence.
